Smith & Wesson Heritage Model 24-5 Chambered in .44 Special with a 6-1/2" Barrel The Smith & Wesson Model 24-5 Heritage Edition is a double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .44 Special.
This Heritage Edition was produced by the Performance Center in collaboration with Lew Horton Distributing, representing a limited continuation of the classic Model 24 design.
It features a 6-½" inch barrel and a six-round capacity.
The frame and cylinder are finished in blue over carbon steel construction, complemented by brown checkered wood grips with Smith & Wesson medallions.
The rear sight is adjustable, while the front sight is a stationary blade with a brass dot for aiming.
This Model 24-5 is used and shows very minor indications of handling consistent with limited firing. Light marks are visible on the cylinder face and a faint turn line is present, while the bore remains clean.
Included with the revolver is the original vintage-style gold presentation box featuring metal corners and light exterior wear. The box contains original paperwork and the fired cartridge case dated 09-12-2001.
